APV-4 sweeping vacuum trailer unit

Purpose:

The unit is intended for the cleaning of garbage from the street, road, narrow passages, stops, large residential, social and industrial terrain with hard coating, followed by unloading of the refuse in containers or at a garbage dump. Connects to wheel tractors with a power capacity of no less than 44.1 kW (60 h. p.), allowing vertical load on the drawbar coupling no less than 800 kg.

Description and operation:

The driver operates all working functions with the aid of a steering control mounted in the cabin of the tractor and observes all working processes through a rear-view mirror.

The tractor’s engine sets in operation a hydraulic system pumping station. The pump of the hydraulic system, set up on the tractor’s VOM, guarantees the working of all the unit’s systems. The unit engine sets in operation a fan, creating a vacuum for the collection of garbage, and a water pump of the irrigation/sprinkling system. The engine can be started either from the steering control or from the dashboard of the equipment mounted on the unit.
The garbage is swept up by means of two feeder and one circular (initiating) brooms and is drawn into a suction port, soaked with water sprayed through a jet, and sucked by means of a vacuum created by a fan. The garbage, soaked with water, passes through a flexible hose into a dust collector, where it settles until the bunker is full. The air that is freed from the waste passes through a mesh, a discharge canal, a fan, and emerges into the atmosphere.
